The dampers provide speed and movement control using hydraulic oil damping in any extension, compression or in both directions. The damper look the same as a gas spring, shock absorber so care must be taken when specifying a spring instead of a solar damper. The types of applications where dampers are most commonly used are covers, doors, decks or any other object that is needed to move at a controlled speed to a certain force.
Application example
solar dampers can be installed to prevent shocks and control the speed of the downward movement of a side rail system of hospital beds or to reduce the opening of a maintenance cover in an ATM, an electronic games machine or other electronic consoles.
